De-Clutter

This is a fantastic strategy to help prepare the home for a smooth sale. Begin by sorting your belongings, try to pick a room in the house you can use to move excess items into. From there you can begin to offload these objects, alternatively let us handle the de-cluttering with our in-home services. We'll clear through the items to be donated/ disposed of and pack up anything that needs to be kept.

Safety Hazards

Never ever store anything explosive, flammable, corrosive or perishable/living. These can be extremely dangerous and are not worth the risk, it is best to dispose of or pass along these objects before you even begin packing. 

Storage Preparation

Before storing any wood or leather furniture condition wipe them down and condition them as this will help their longevity for both short- and long-term storage. Our storage warehouses are designed with special shelving to protect oversized items as well, so you can rest easy knowing your leather and upholstered pieces are well taken care of.

When packing, if you choose to do the packing yourself, be thorough and label everything, be sure to make a list of all the items being stored. If possible, avoid plastic bags/wraps and use breathable totes, cardboard boxes, or bins instead.
