In March of 2018; Stewart Moving & Storage entered a management agreement with a longtime Portsmouth moving company. The Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Tidewater area needed MORE of Stewart Moving & Storage so we have officially purchased the facility at 830 Douglas Ave, Portsmouth, VA 23707.
This adds a 5 star moving company in the neighborhood for families moving in, from, or to: Williamsburg, VA; Newport News, VA; Hampton, VA; Suffolk, VA; in addition to Virginia Beach, Norfolk, & Chesapeake, Virginia.
At our humble roots as a military moving company founded in Richmond VA in 2000- that has expanded over the year to serve ALL families & businesses that need packing, moving, & storage services via 8 locations in 4 states. Once you’ve booked your move with Stewart Moving & Storage - you gain an additional advocate in your corner - your Move Coordinator. This person works directly with YOU, your Move Consultant, our operations department and your Move Team to ensure any changes in your move plan are communicated and cared for- seamlessly.
When your much anticipated move day arrives; we’re ready for you! Your Move Team will arrive as scheduled, in one of our state of the art, Video Monitored & GPS tracked Moving Trucks; equipped with your personalized move plan and all the equipment to make it happen.
