Moving is already one of life’s most stressful transitions-  so where does moving during the coronavirue pandemic rank? We think it might top the charts, we understand and are here to help!

No, you don’t have to rent a truck and move yourself because of the pandemic.  Moving companies are considered an Essential Service as a transportation company and we are still operating and abiding by all CDC guidelines and local orders. With all that’s going on, the last thing you need to add to your plate is trying to move yourself.  Thankfully- moving can still be accomplished safely unlike some services where physical contact is necessary.

How can you prepare for a safe move during this pandemic? We’ve consulted industry experts and the latest CDC guidelines to offer you Moving Tips that are relevant NOW- during the COVID-19/ Coronavirus pandemic.

Much of it is the same guidance for day to day life right now- stay 6 feet away from people, wear a mask when you can’t socially distance, and wash your hands!  In the case of moving during the coronavirus- make sure your movers are able to abide by these guidelines.  Leave a bottle of hand soap and roll or paper towels at the kitchen and/ or bathroom sink.

We’ve offered Virtual Estimate options for years but with the social distancing guidelines right now we see many more customers taking advantage of the technology.  Not tech savvy?  Don’t worry- we can still come to your home and abide by the 6 feet rule.  We’ll just ask you to open the cabinets and doors for us so we can do our job without touching anything in your home.  WE want to keep YOU and ourselves safe and healthy!

Our move crews have been provided with gloves and Lysol/ Clorox wipes as they are available and are being asked to stay home if they have any cold symptoms at all.

And don’t worry- we won’t be offended when you don’t shake our hand when we arrive…a smile will do just fine.
