Good Morning Stewart Family,

This Wednesday is Administrative Professionals day. The inception of this day can be linked back to World War II where there was a shortage of skilled administrative personnel in the US due to Depression-era birth-rate decline and booming post-war business. This shortage inspired a new appreciation of administrative professionals and the day was created to recognize their efforts. So in observance of this holiday, let’s all give our office staff a break by ensuring that all of our paperwork is completed properly.

This week I would like to talk about ensuring that our paperwork is filled out. This may seem simple enough, but keep in mind that one missed signature can be extremely costly. Each form drivers are given serves a specific purpose and must be filled out entirely. When these forms aren’t completed, we could not be paid for the job, pay for property damage that we didn’t cause, or pay for falsified claims that we have no way to dispute.

The best method to avoid these scenarios is to go over the paperwork with your dispatcher in the morning. Ask questions and know why customer’s are signing not just where they need to sign. Ensure that you are able to explain the documents to our customers and avoid any frustration.

So get with your dispatcher and make sure that you know what needs to be signed and why.

Cheers,

Robert Wright
